Soft and glowing, this painting feels like the first song of a new day. This painting is inspired by a piece of filigree in one of Emperor Nero’s summer homes outside of Pompeii. A small detail on a damaged wall, I’ve now brought it to the foreground and exchanged the cracks and soot for vines and sunlight.This lovely unframed image is printed on superior archival grade un-stretched canvas at a local shop in GA. I’m working closely with the print shop to ensure that each print is a well made and accurate reproduction of this lovely work of art.
